the Indian Crusader

The Indian Crusader was founded in 1954 by Dr. Henry Hendrick and has been providing care and support to the native American peoples, the first Americans, for more than 50 years.

In 1950, Dr. Henry Hedrick launched into Indian ministry by producing a movie exposing the poverty, injustice and religious persecution on the Jemez Reservation.

During the 50’s and 60’s the movie and a fleet of 5 buses were the vehicle used to raise the awareness of Indian issues. Then in 1965 Dr. Hedrick began a local radio broadcast, The American Indian Hour, out of Long Beach, California. The response was so great that within months he had a national radio program which became the new vehicle to further the cause of Christ.

Since then the Indian Crusader has been feeding, teaching and providing care to the American Natives ever since.

The Crusades we under take range from providing teaching and sponsoring bible camps to building homes, food distribution programs, sending financial support to many churches to helping the American Natives with their cause be it for toxic waste dump awareness to helping the chiefs and their people, stop greedful Indian casino's from being built on their home land..

With your help and with the continued support of the churches around the United States, we will reach out goals, share our vision and bring the lost to know the Good News.
