Trying to get his legs back from Outer Space.

Commander John Herrington, a Chickasaw Indian seems to be looking for his legs after what he calls being on the “the Flight of my life.”.

Herrington, the first registered Native American to go into space has the added pride of going on three space walks as part of the mission to repair the international space station.

The flight after several delays took off November 23 and landed December 7, 2002.
